Ancos, a subsidiary of Rice Industries LLC, is pleased to announce that it has acquired additional solid-stating assets located in Darlington, SC from PolyQuest, Incorporated. This is an exciting step for Ancos as we continue our journey and investment to be a leader in the polymer tolling marketplace.
Expanding Ancos’ solid-stating capacity will increase our ability to serve customers while adding a second location with strategic geographic presence in South Carolina. The Darlington assets are a best in class operation and are a great addition to Ancos’ processing expertise and high level of quality and service.
In addition to the installed Rotational Vacuum Dryers (RVDs), Ancos has also acquired a number of un-installed RVDs for future capacity growth. Our expectation is to continue to invest in the Darlington location over time and supplement solid-stating with a full set of blending, material handling, cryogenic grinding and jet milling services.
